Welcome to BHA

Beth-EL House Academy (BHA) is a faith based, STEAM focused early childhood and out of school time program serving students between the ages of 3-12 years of age.

At BHA, we help our students cultivate their natural curiosity in an environment that is student lead and teacher-supported. We utilize a creative curriculum that allows our students to explore the world around them in a meaningful way. We are committed to ensuring that early learners grow in the five major areas of development: cognitive, social-emotional, speech and language, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills.

Research tells us that a holistic approach to education that is developmentally appropriate, comprehensive & effectively implemented best helps to prepare children to face the world. BHA students will have opportunities to develop math, literacy, social–emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.

At BHA, we work to ensure that all children have access to the high quality education that they deserve, and not simply the education that their families can afford. Equitable access is made possible through our participation in the CCDF, OMWPK and Build, Learn Grow programs. Equity matters to us and we are committed to working with families to ensure that no child lacks a loving and academically rich early learning experience.

Students will learn in a diverse environment that nurtures their individual talents and celebrates the unique backgrounds of each child in our care.

BHA teachers are certified and passionate about early childhood education. Our staff is prepared to enthusiastically meet the individual needs of early learners.

Mission

Beth-EL House Academy’s mission is to positively impact the lives of early learners through a faith-based, STEAM-focused approach. We are concerned with the whole child and strive to ensure that all children in our community have equitable access to high quality education.

Vision

Beth-EL House Academy envisions a world where all children have access to a high quality education and experience the love of Christ throughout their early learning journey.

Paths to Quality

Beth-EL House Academy is a Level 3 Paths to Quality Provider.

The Paths to Quality (PTQ) system validates childcare programs for ongoing efforts to achieve higher standards of quality and provides incentives and awards for success. The four levels address:

  • Level One: Health and safety needs of children met

  • Level Two: Environment supports children’s learning

  • Level Three: Planned curriculum guides child development and school readiness

  • Level Four: National accreditation (the highest indicator of quality) is achieved
